Your plan documents and employee class structure determine which employees are eligible and how the ICHRA applies to them.
Maintain the workforce information needed to apply those terms consistently.
Do not move an employee between classes solely to produce a preferred allowance or affordability result. Class assignments should follow the classifications established under your plan and be applied consistently to similarly situated employees.
When an employee's circumstances change, report the change and allow the applicable eligibility and effective-date rules to be reviewed before altering the ICHRA record.
