You make the introduction. Lirvion runs the ICHRA administration.

Lirvion's Referral Partnership Program is designed for professionals and organizations with employer relationships who want to introduce employers to a modern alternative for providing employee health benefits

Built for professionals who work with employers

Health benefits are part of a broader employer conversation, supported by insurance, payroll, HR, PEO, accounting, financial, and other trusted advisors. The Lirvion Referral Partnership Program allows both licensed insurance producers and eligible non-licensed professionals to participate.

You identify the opportunity and make the introduction; Lirvion handles ICHRA expertise, technology, implementation, and administration. Referral compensation is based on Lirvion’s administration fees, subject to professional role, licensing requirements, and the Referral Partnership Agreement.

How the Referral Partnership works

  • 01

    Join the Program

Apply to become a Lirvion Referral Partner and complete the Referral Partnership Agreement. Once approved, you have access to the Referral Partner Portal, where you can submit employer opportunities and track your referrals. You may also receive a unique referral link that employers can use to connect directly with Lirvion.

  • 02

    Introduce an Employer

If you work with an employer that may benefit from a different approach to employee health benefits, introduce them to Lirvion — through your Referral Partner Portal or your referral link. You do not need to determine whether ICHRA is the right solution first, and the employer can be at any stage of its benefits journey.

  • 03

    Lirvion Takes It From There

Lirvion works directly with the employer to evaluate the opportunity and determine whether ICHRA fits its workforce, objectives, and benefits strategy. You do not need to become an ICHRA expert or administer the program yourself. If ICHRA is not the right fit, the employer is under no obligation to move forward.

  • 04

The Employer Becomes a Lirvion Client

If the employer decides to move forward with ICHRA, Lirvion provides the administration services included in the employer's agreement. Lirvion owns the ICHRA administration relationship while you continue serving the employer in the other areas of your existing professional relationship.

  • 05

    Earn Recurring Referral Compensation

Once your referred employer is an active Lirvion client, you become eligible for referral compensation — a share of the ICHRA administration service fees Lirvion receives from that employer, calculated on a per employee per month (PEPM) basis. And it is recurring.

What the Lirvion platform can support

Depending on the employer's configuration and selected services, the Lirvion platform can support:

You keep the relationship. We handle the administration.

Making a referral to Lirvion does not mean giving up your employer relationship. Lirvion takes responsibility for the ICHRA administration relationship and provides the technology and administrative infrastructure needed to operate the employer’s ICHRA. Licensed health insurance producers can continue serving the employer within the scope of their professional role and applicable licensing requirements.

Professionals who do not hold a health insurance license can remain trusted advisors to the employer in their existing areas of expertise without taking on regulated insurance activities.

What makes a good referral?

A good referral is an employer that is open to evaluating how it provides or structures employee health benefits. You do not have to wait until an employer is approaching its health plan renewal.

  • An employer facing significant or unpredictable group health plan costs

  • A multi-state or distributed workforce that is difficult to serve through one group network

  • An employer offering health benefits for the first time

  • An employer already researching ICHRA

  • A company looking for greater flexibility in employer health benefit contributions

  • A growing company whose workforce or locations have outgrown its current benefit structure

  • An employer looking for an alternative to its current group health plan

  • An employer that simply wants to compare ICHRA with its current or planned benefits strategy

Not every referral will result in an ICHRA implementation — and that is okay. Your role is to identify the opportunity and make the introduction. Lirvion will work with the employer to determine whether ICHRA is an appropriate solution.
