How to Handle ICHRA Premium Changes

Learn what to do when an employee's insurance premium changes or the updated amount is not reflected in Lirvion.

An insurance premium may change:

  • At renewal

  • After the carrier processes an update to the policy

  • When an employee's residential address changes

  • When enrolled family members change

A premium change does not automatically change the employee's approved ICHRA allowance.

If an updated premium is not reflected in Lirvion:

  1. Review the updated premium and employee responsibility.

  2. Report the discrepancy to Lirvion.

  3. Provide the available carrier documentation.

Do not change an employee's payroll amount based only on an unconfirmed platform status. Review the updated premium and employee responsibility first.
