Payroll and ICHRA administration track different information, but both records should stay aligned.
Depending on your plan design, relevant payroll information may include an employee's:
Employment status
Full-time or part-time status
Work location
Hours worked
Compensation or rate of pay
Leave status
Employee class
Hire or termination date
Not every payroll field will affect your ICHRA. The information you need depends on your plan design, employee classes, affordability method, and administrative procedures.
Important: Updating a payroll or HR record does not automatically update the employee's ICHRA record. Report relevant workforce changes through Lirvion's approved update process.
For a regular record review, see Reconcile Payroll and ICHRA Records.
For specific changes, see Manage Employee Changes and Handle Mid-Month Changes.
